Idea combines offering a discount on new shoes and donations to a charity.
A Snail’s Pace Running stores in Southern California are offering their own “Cash For Clunkers” running shoe program. The stores are offering customers $10 off a new pair of running shoes if they bring in an old worn-out pair. The stores will donate the worn shoes to the Soles 4 Souls charity. Soles 4 Souls sends the worn shoes to family in need around the world that cannot afford a pair of shoes.
