With the exception of Ironman Arizona, the fall triathlons that were set to take place in September and October at Tempe Town Lake could be turned into duathlons, according to the race organization’s website.

American Chris Lieto and Australian Mirinda Carfrae were victorious at today’s Vineman Ironman 70.3 race in Sonoma County, California. Lieto out-biked the competition, while Carfrae turned in her signature half-marathon performance.

Two-time Ironman World Champion Craig Alexander won today’s Ironman 70.3 Racine thanks to a 1:15:19 half marathon. New Zealand’s Samantha Warriner narrowly took the women’s title by edging out Australia’s Kate Major by a margin of 13 seconds.
